James
What a wild night! The Royal Albert Hall, with its stringent rules, presented an unexpected challenge. Upon arrival, a big security man informed me that if I intended to capture the show through photographs, I couldn’t remain within the crowd. Despite explaining my prior communication with James and the nature of my work, I was directed to the pit in front of the audience.
To my dismay, after only the first three songs, I was ushered away. In the eyes of the security personnel, I was merely perceived as another individual attempting to profit from my photos. The disappointment was palpable, particularly since I had traveled to London specifically for this moment. Determined to salvage the experience, I embarked on a series of ninja-like maneuvers, successfully evading security. I threw myself into the heart of the crowd, turning the night into a nostalgic and incredible experience as I listened to one of my favorite bands from when I was 14 years old.
